9th Annual WNBR, San Franciso, 2018-03-10

Yes, yesterday we had the first real WNBR of the year. By 11 am over a dozen bicyclists had arrived, in lightly overcast weather. Out west of here, in the Sunset, there had been heavy fog in the morning, and by departure for the event it was still somewhat foggy.

More bicyclists arrived, some known old-timers, others new. By noon we had about two dozen adherents, among them two couples. One couple stayed in their underwear, while the other couple gradually undressed till their genitals showed, and they were definitely man and woman. It was good to see that not only men would join us on these events.

After a while it sprinkled a bit for ten minutes, and some people thought more rain would come, but instead it ceased. It was a bit cool and about half of the bicyclists kept on some piece of clothing. On the sidewalk, stacks of onlookers aimed their cameras at the nudes, laughed loudly, and cheered the group on when they finally took off about 12:30 p.m.

I would judge it a successful WNBR. I took around hundred pictures, practically none posed but showing nudity, bicycles, and action when they all went away along the Embarcadero.
