We meet monthly at The Penventon Hotel, Redruth (except Aug and Dec) All visitors welcome, please ring first to arrange your visit, after 6pm is best.

The Far West Sun Club is an extremely friendly, family orientated members club. However, you don't have to be a member to visit us!
We have 2 venues that we use. The Penventon Hotel is our main venue, which we use on a monthly basis. It has a lovely swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Unlike our second venue, this venue is smaller, however, the swim goes on for much longer, and there are loungers around the pool where everyone can sit and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and a chat. Its a very sociable swim.
The second venue is the Polkyth Leisure centre in St. Austel. We only use this one in May and December, although, this year 2013 we have booked an extra session in September. This is also a really nice venue with a large swimming pool, sauna and a hydrotherapy pool which is wonderfully warm!
Afterwards we meet in the cafe area where we provide hot drinks and everyone usually brings a plate of food to share.
In November each year we hold our Annual Dinner Dance weekend in Newquay. What you get for your money: 2 nights bed and full breakfast; 2 lots of 4 course evening meals; 2 evenings of entertainment -the first evening we have a live band which for 2013 will be Edison Light house, and the second evening a disco. Also, on top of all this you have the full use of the hotel facilities including swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Plus at midnight on both nights tea/coffee and fresh sandwiches are supplied for those who like to stay up late! To end the weekend, we have a 4 course Sunday Lunch. This really is a weekend not to be missed! We do get fully booked very early though, so for further details please ring the number below.
