El Fonoll

This is an interesting place where a once deserted village has been turned into a naturist centre. The owners are friendly and there is a hotel, apartments and camping spaces. We camped and there were only a few others camping - the facilities were very basic and the outdoor showers near the campground didn't really work (and there were a lot of wasps buzzing around). There were also a lot of flies which were hard to get rid of, especially when having our meals. I felt that more effort had been put into making the hotel and apartments nice, but not the campground. It's a shame there is the constant whirring of the windmills nearby - and the cockerels are lively from early in the morning so take your earplugs! There is a shop and free Wifi, and plenty of space to walk through the woods and fields naked. Textile walkers and cyclists occasionally come through the village as its on a walking route.
