Rotota values enjoying naturism in a natural enviornment. We have limited facilities and our members and guests relish being away from the technologically driven world.
(There is no mobile phone coverage at rotota).
All our accommodation and facilites are powered by solar or gas energy.
We have available three baches (1 large, 2 small) and a number of club caravans for rental accommodation by members and visitors.
Our large, comfortable clubhouse has a wood-fire and large library of books which are regularly rotated by members usage!
Our local gem is our natural access to Lake Ohakuri (a hydro lake on the Waikato River) and the nearby geothermal activity. This includes a natural hot-water fed hot tub (year round) on the lake shore and a nearby hot-water stream and 2m waterfall (best enjoyed during summer). A short walk will take you to a natural fumerole area where the views are best enjoyed at sunset on the warm ground.
Rotota welcomes all INF visitors/guests who wish to experience something a little different when visiting New Zealand.

A warm pool, a warm waterfall, a warm river, a naturally heated hot tub. It is certainly the most beautiful campsite in New Zealand for a good rest.
