Domaine du Grand Bois

A nice camping in a very good and famous winearea.
The camping has a big green area with gras and trees (some fruittrees) where people coming for some nights can stay with their tents/caravans. The sanitary buildings are ok (bring your own toiletpaper). Nice outdoor showers (hot water included) with a beautiful wiew over The Rhone landscape.
There are quite a few people having their own caravans and small gardens and the area is quit big and it is some distances to walk to the reception and the toilets. It also gives some cartraffic at the place.

It is a bar/restaurant with very friendly and helpful people. Most staff speak only french, but wants to understand and it was no problem.
The reception offers fresh bread in the morning (preordered) and they also sell some fresh fruit and some food. They have some homemade jams and local honey aswell.
The pool area is ok, fine to swim, but not very "cosy". It's a childrenpool and a normal pool. It is benches to sit on, and small stones around the pool. There is a volleyballnet, tischtennis, petanique and a playground.

The prices are not very high and quality compared to price is good!
