The islands of Cres and Lošinj belong to the Cres and Lošinj Archipelago, an island group in Kvarner Bay, the largest one in the Croatian Adriatic. Cres, the second largest Croatian island (length: 68 km, width: 13 km), is connected with the island of Lošinj via its Osor Port and a moving bridge.
The Lošinj Archipelago includes Lošinj (74.68 km2) and smaller islands such as Unije, Ilovike, Susak, Vele Srakane, Male Srakane and 30 other smaller islands, islets and reefs.

Munich - Villach - Udine - Basovizza - Rupa - Valbiska - Merag - Mali Lošinj
By car from Trieste (Italy): border crossing Pasjak – Opatija – Brestova ferry port – ferry to Porozina – islands of Cres and Lošinj.
By car from Ljubljana (Slovenia): border crossing Rupa – Rijeka – island of Krk (crossing the bridge) – Valbiska ferry port – ferry to Merag – islands of Cres and Lošinj; it is also possible via the border crossing Rupa – Rijeka – Opatija – Brestova ferry port – ferry to Porozina – islands of Cres and Lošinj.
The ferry ride takes approximately 20 minutes. You will buy the tickets in the port, they cannot be reserved.
