Let me start by saying this place is beautiful and full of beautiful people.
From the time we called someone to come and open the secure gate and take us personally to our van, we were made to feel nothing but welcome and at ease. Once we got to our van, it was time to remove our clothes, unpack and make the bed and head on up to the club house area.
They have everything from an amazing large pool and sauna, to a fully functioning commercial kitchen. A large communal shed, housed the new pizza oven, gym and a stage with instruments for their band and karaoke endeavors. Yes, the showers and toilets are good, especially the ones that have a large window, overlooking the bush. Something special and surreal at night is the word.
We met and socialized with some of the nicest people we have ever met. Because the residents and regulars are in the buff so much, we felt that confidence and at ease attitude, which in turn we instantly felt the same way.
What an experience. That initial moment, for your first time at a nudist club, when you start to mingle and get to know the people over a couple of quiet beverages, is something that will stay with me for ever. The feeling of being in a state of the ultimate form of freedom with like minded people, nearly like you are pretending that you and everyone else is clothed, when you know damn well you are willingly and openly just standing there in the nude and talking to another naked person. Saying it and doing it are so far apart, it's not funny but so much fun.
I'm going back, if they have me back. Its only about when we can get the time to head back there. We will just have to make the time then because we are hooked, hook, line and sinker. The whole rod actually.
Thank you to the people of Rosco. You have effortlessly created a new destination for us to visit, reset and forget our real world issues.
See you soon,
Jason and Mel.
